HELLO BABY.

It's the post many of you have been waiting for. The arrival of the baby bear, the one that will reside in that awesome buffalo plaid nursery. If you missed it, see it here. It's been 3 weeks since baby E made his arrival (better late than never, right?), and he already has everyone wrapped around those long little fingers of his. Everyone meet Emmett Micheal Richards, my handsome nephew. He entered this world on April 11, 2017 on his own time at 2:42 PM. He weighed 7 pounds 8 ounces and was 20 inches long. He has a full head of hair, dark hair, which was a shock. I mean everyone was in agreement that he would come out with some light color like both parents when they were babies. Boy, were we wrong. He has some beautiful deep blue eyes, and that's the next biggest debate. Are they going to stay blue and lighten up like his mama's or go brown like his dad's. He's already so full of emotion (check out those facial expressions) and a little bit stubborn but his mommy and daddy wouldn't have it any other way because he's perfect and healthy. I'll quit talking now and get to the adorable baby.

It's hard to believe he's three weeks old already, time's flying and I can't wait to watch him grow up. This Auntie is quite smitten.
